A hole in the wall
The performer-composer across the ages
A hole in the wall, a grandma in the skies and the sylt in the sea; get prepared for a different type of a musical experience!
From
the group’s inception, Nordic Affect has combined new compositions with the
music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In Strange Turn the ensemble offers a
rare program, which draws on a common trade between the baroque period and our
times, namely works by men and women who have embodied the role of both
performer and composer, including
Henry Purcell,
Veronique Vaka,
François Couperin,
Bergrún Snæbjörnsdóttir, Dietrich Buxtehude and
Steinunn Arnbjörg Stefánsdóttir a.o.
